Terry Gilliam looks like he’s back on form with his long-delayed new fantasy movie, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
The film is about a crazy old coot (actor Jonathan Pryce) who is sure he’s Don Quixote, one who mistakes marketing manager Toby (Star War’s Adam Driver) for his loyal squire, Sancho Panza.
The two loons go on a very strange road-trip, leaping back and forth in time between the 21st and Middle Ages, fighting stalkers and creatures of legend.
Gradually, much like the literary creation of Cervantes, Toby becomes drawn into the odd fantasy world until he is not able of distinguishing his dreams from the real world anymore.
It’ll be streamed on Amazon Prime, too, some time later this year.
