The Kitchen Art Studio (Learning To See book 5) by Peter Jenny (book review)
I did have to wonder about the title of the fifth book in the ‘Learning To See’ books, ‘The Kitchen Art Studio’ as to what it was about. It’s not exactly about cooking but seeing the odd shapes of vegetables and other things in your kitchen as artistic shapes. Although I can cook, unlike Peter Jenny’s introduction, I don’t tend to look at food as ‘see and eat’ let alone play around with it for artistic endeavours. If you have a bent that way then this book should open your eyes to applying your artistic eye in the kitchen. Just don’t start shaping mashed potato into looking like the Devil’s Tower.
