Spy-fy doesn’t get much gritter than the supposedly dead CIA assassin with a big heart who is The Equalizer.

Yes, Denzel Washington is back helping people. And killing them. And helping them in this sequel to the 2014 film The Equalizer, itself based on the classic 1980s TV series of the same name.

The thing I miss the most about this is the lack of the original theme song in the reboot.
