The Crossing (new Amazon Prime scifi series).

Here’s a new offering in the Amazon Prime science fiction TV series stakes … The Crossing. It comes as a cross between Netflix’s Travelers and the old CBS series, The 4400.

Refugees from the future start to turn up in the now (off the US coast) with tales of a future war between a genetically enhanced super-elite and normal humanity.

It’s available to watch now – at least, the first episode is.

Here’s the blurb.

Two centuries in the future humanity has eliminated all genetic diseases which has resulted in a minority of the population becoming smarter and stronger than regular humans. Believing to be the next step in human evolution they begin to take over all governments around the globe. Thousands flee to evacuation sites to time travel back to early 21st century America which they call the time of the long peace.

The reviews are rather good so it’s well worth a watch.
