Star Wars Han Solo film gets a Woody (Harrelson).

Some news fresh in – the new Han Solo movie from the Star Wars stable has just hired Woody ‘The Hunger Games’ Harrelson to appear in the flick in a major role. The other main known actors for this movie are Alden Ehrenreich as young Han Solo, Donald Glover as young Lando Calrissian, and Emilia Clarke as the big female protagonist.

This is set well before A New Hope and features Han’s scoundrel adventures across the galaxy.

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody,” explained the film’s directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller over on the official Star Wars web site. “His ability to find both humour and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong.”
