Virgin Galactic reports that their SpaceShipTwo vessel shattered the sound barrier above the Mojave Desert in one of its final test flights before Richard Branson launches his commercial endeavor to allow DotCom billionaires to escape the Earth before the big asteroid hits. Opps, I mean near-orbital space tourism. Sorry, Richard.
