Science Fiction Gold: Hunt for the “Reel” Deal of the Prestigious Golden Guy.

January 15, 2015. Well the Oscar nominees for the 87th Academy Awards were recently announced. The representation of Science Fiction, fantasy and cyber thrillers/computer intrigue were acknowledged in various categories for consideration. For SFCrowsnest readers that have an obvious affinity for the genres mentioned (not to mention a decent liking for the glitz of Oscar gold) then Science Fiction Gold: Hunt for the “Reel” Deal of the Golden Guy” should offer some curiosity as to what was recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The following passage below will merely list the categories and the Science Fiction/fantasy selections that were nominated within the confines of the Academy’s attention. The 2015 Oscar nominations (based upon the films that were distributed in the calendar year of 2014) for the purposes of this site’s themes and interests will include :
