All hands ahoy! Netflix is bringing the fantastical world of “One Piece” from manga and anime to live-action TV, and oh boy, it’s going to be a grand voyage! This pirate adventure has found its core crew with Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Stepping into the boots of our favorite straw hat-wearing pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, is Iñaki Godoy. With a sly smile and an enormous appetite, we can’t wait to see him stretch our expectations of what Luffy can be (pun intended)! Not to forget, Mackenyu takes the helm as Roronoa Zoro, who we’re sure will be keeping us on the edge of our seats, and hopefully not getting lost in the process. Emily Rudd is our Nami, the savvy navigator with a heart of gold and a love for treasure. Completing the crew are Jacob Romero Gibson as the sharpshooter Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji, the kicks of the kitchen.
The fans couldn’t help but “lol” when we found out that the main cast was hurriedly announced to prevent a leak! But hey, we don’t mind getting our news with a dash of cheeky humor.
