Occupation: Rainfall (science fiction film: new trailer).

Here’s the trailer for the sci-fi film, Occupation: Rainfall from Writer/Director Luke Sparke, which is a follow-up to the original Occupation from a couple of years ago.

If you remember, Occupation featured a plucky Australian resistance movement who join up with the remnants of the Australian army to resist an alien invasion.

Of course, most of these films are usually set in the USA and never feature the rest of the world during an alien invasion. Haha, but not when your movie is backed by financiers from Oz and shot and produced with SFX in both Australia and New Zealand.

The original movie featured very good special effects for a film of this weight, and the follow-up looks to be more of the same. And not only are the SFX top-notch, but there is quite an impressive cast as well. It includes Temuera Morrison (The Mandalorian), Jason Isaacs (Star Trek Discovery) and Ken Jeong (The Hangover).

Occupation: Rainfall: the aliens will invade Australia, again - but Temuera Morrison can stop them (scifi film: trailer).

  • Looks to be a potential ripping good tale.
