Netflix’s Witcher whimsy: a double-dose of magic and mayhem this Summer 2023 (TV trailer).
Hold onto your silver swords, folks! Netflix has announced that The Witcher Season 3 will be served in two magical parts, just like a potion you didn’t know you needed. Volume 1 is set to bewitch us on June 29th 2023, while Volume 2 ensorcels on July 27th 2023.
A new teaser reveals Geralt (Henry Cavill) facing his darkest fears, while Ciri (Freya Allan) gallops away from the Wild Hunt, and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Jaskier (Joey Batey) are… well, in BIG trouble (as always).
This season’s eight episodes will be the last hoorah for Cavill’s Geralt, as he passes the torch (or should we say, silver sword?) to Liam Hemsworth in Season 4. It’s a bittersweet farewell to our beloved White Wolf, but hey, at least we get double the Witcher action this summer!
As we prepare for this enchanting send-off, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich assures us that new chapters bring new energy. So, let’s embrace the change and hope Hemsworth can handle a bathtub scene as well as Cavill.
