Jupiter Ascending… fantasy or scifi?

Here’s a rarity, a science fiction film not based on a comic, book or game, original(ish) from the Matrix creators the Wachowski brothers. Called Jupiter Ascending, it’s billed as space opera, but comes across with the ‘you are the chosen one’ fantasy trope, as a current day Earth girl – Mila Kunis – discovers she is actually empress of the Galactic Empire or some-such. A similar set-up was used in The Last Starfighter and The Fifth Element, of course. What do you think?
