Has the shy Planet Nine finally been discovered? The latest publication, A search for Planet 9 in the IRAS data, by Emeritus Professor Michael Rowan-Robinson of Imperial College London, is the result of narrowing down a search in the IRAS data to one probable candidate for a ninth planet.
From 1993 until 2007, Prof. Rowan-Robinson was the Head of the Astrophysics Group at Imperial College in London.
His research focuses on cosmology and infrared astronomy.
