From her breakout work LA PERDIDA to her comics textbooks, Abel has displayed not only the ability to craft compelling stories but also a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the medium, Her latest series, TRISH TRASH: ROLLERGIRL OF MARS is the story of a mixed-race teenager on Mars, struggling to escape economic oppression through a futuristic version of roller derby.
