Fifth Element’s opera – now, not so impossible for a human to sing!
If you remember that alien diva-sung opera from the scifi film The Fifth Element (called ‘Il dolce suono’), you’ll also recall all the music academics at the time saying no human could ever sing this song outside of the synthesizer used to hype and mimic the alien’s voice for the film.
Well, a little 13-year old girl called Victoria Hovhannisyan owns the pitch in this talent show, when she actually sings science fiction’s favourite alien opera for real!
What can we say, but WOW.
