Farmville goes steam(punking) crazy!
Is that the sound of a genre becoming overexposed? The social farming game Farmville has just cottoned onto the steampunk movement and is now offering a number of steampunked animals and goodies as prizes such as the famous Steam Owl, Steam Deer, Steam Horse, Steam Pegacorn, Steam Sheep and Steampunk Mansion.
The prizes are good for this week only as part of their regular mystery game. We’ve always shied clear of playing FarmVille (or any social networked gaming experience) on the basis that they seem to be the nearest thing to umpty candy (or crack, if you’re not living in a MegaCity), and if you feel the same about pimping pixels, perhaps these steampunk critters will be enough to send you into the farming business too?
