These guys know their stuff when it comes to comics, and they’ll be discussing everything from the role of comics in the world of art and culture to the impact of new technologies like Artificial Intelligence on the way we create and consume comics.

Comics Up Close will also bring together leading academics, creative professionals, and passionate advocates from around the globe to share new research and thinking on all things comics. And with the event moving between universities in the north of England, there’s sure to be a diverse and exciting mix of perspectives on offer.
