Colony (new alien occupation TV show).

From Carlton Cuse of Lost fame comes Colony, this new science fiction TV series about a USA under alien occupation. Interestingly,  the alien are hands-off and run the occupied USA through a government of collaboration. The nature of the aliens and what they want seems to be a rather creepy centre-point of the show. But then with a Lost creator on board behind this show, you’d expect a few mysteries.

Josh Holloway (one the main Lost actors as well as the star of many a manly perfume advert) is the hero of the series as ex-FBI agent Will Bowman, while Sarah Wayne Callies (Mrs Rick in The Walking Dead) is Bowman’s long suffering wife, Katie. One of their children is missing in an exclusion zone controlled by the ETs. How far will the family go – aka collaborate – to keep their child safe?

Bleaker and more grounded than similar concepts such as Falling Skies – maybe Falling Skies crossed with Homeland?
