Blue Beetle: first poster reveal for new DC superhero movie (news).

The upcoming superhero movie Blue Beetle is based on the DC Comics character Jaime Reyes, also known as Blue Beetle. It will be the 14th movie in the DC Extended Universe, and sees
Jaime Reyes (actor Xolo Mariduena), a recent college graduate, returning home with high hopes for the future only to discover that things are not exactly as he left them.

As Jaime looks for his place in the world, destiny steps in when he unintentionally comes into possession of the Scarab, a long-lost artefact of extraterrestrial biotechnology.

Jaime receives an astonishing set of armour with remarkable and unforeseen abilities when the Scarab unexpectedly decides to make him its symbiotic host. As he transforms into the Super Hero Blue Beetle, his future is permanently altered.

Cinema-goers will get to see Blue Beetle land on August 18th, 2023.
