Birmingham Comics Festival 2017.

Birmingham Comics Festival has announced that on Saturday 24th June, Birmingham City University will play host to the Birmingham Comic Art Show.

The Birmingham Comic Art Show will feature an exhibition of original and rare comic book art; exhibitors offering publications, with rare books and original art; demonstrations & workshops; a range of panel discussions, interviews with guests and creators, professional critiques from publishers and editors, through to competitions and activities – with cosplayers in their regalia and inclusivity guaranteed to make sure kids aren’t left out on having any of the fun!

While the Birmingham Comic Art Show is the newly branded name for the festival’s convention, it in fact finds the festival honouring the city’s historical heritage by restoring the city’s name for such events, and comes under the full patronage of Phil Clarke who established the very first comic book convention in the UK in the city of Birmingham back in 1968.

Entrance to the Birmingham Comic Art Show for 2017 is free. All you have to do is claim your ticket at Eventbrite

With the latter, he has been running a short story series under the title of ‘Psi-Kicks’ If you want to contribute to SFCrowsnest, read the guidelines and show him what you can do. If it isn’t usable, he spends as much time telling you what the problems is as he would with material he accepts. This is largely how he got called an Uncle, as in Dutch Uncle. He’s not actually Dutch but hails from the west country in the UK.
