Mark Stewart is a Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society. He is the Society’s Honorary Archival Librarian and editor of the BIS monthly e-Magazine, Odyssey. A life-long “space cadet” he has been reading science fiction novels since the age of twelve and is now fast approaching his mid-century. Mark is a regular contributor to "Spaceflight" magazine and helps maintain the Society’s own modest “Clarkives,” devoted to the life and works of Arthur C. Clarke. He hopes that his children will one day see the genuine commercialisation of space, making Arthur’s dream of shuttles to orbital space stations and the Moon a reality for all.
